The over-the-door rack and the under-sink tension rod don't touch your walls at all. The rack hangs on the door, and the rod presses against the sides of the cabinet.
If your walls are textured, avoid the adhesive options. Command strips need a smooth surface to hold the weight the maker rates them for.
